Kyneton Haus

A reworked of a house relocated home to a rural site in Kyneton. The existing house’s plan was rearranged to turn a convoluted floor plan into an open and free flowing floor plan. All the original timber and plaster art deco features were retained and relocated as required to the new floor plan. Anything that was removed was repurposed, including ornate timber cupboard doors that were used as the external cladding for the pantry in the kitchen. Colour was a key element in this interior design to make this house cosy and unique. The kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms were redone with modern updates and a clean aesthetic to balance against the colorful living spaces. This project highlights one key thing we always say to clients: that we will always work within your aesthetic.
