Fawkner House

A light-filled extension to an existing house in Fawkner this recently completed project features polished concrete floors, large walls of glazing to the rear garden, and a generous central kitchen. The clients requested new living spaces to cater to their young family, with the existing house reworked with updated bedrooms, a new ensuite and WIR, bathrooms and a work-from-home study. The new spaces all have an outlook to the generous rear yard and link the inside and outside entertaining areas. A light interior materials palette is offset with a bold blue island bench to the kitchen, and a large internal skylight letting diffuse light into the rear living areas.
